Materials To Palette Texture Atlas
If you found this plugin useful please consider donating!
This plugin eliminates the need to open Photoshop to manually create a palette of colors to be used as a texture in blender.
Instead of color picking off a screenshot, one click will create a new texture with colors arranged in squares, useful for low poly solid color modeling workflows.
Instructions
Simply select all the objects in object mode that contain the materials whose base colors you wish to transfer onto the texture. Make sure one of the selected objects is the active object.
The plugin will go over all the materials on those objects and arrange the base colors of the materials into a palette texture.
Note: both assigned and unassigned materials will be sampled, repeating materials will be ignored so only the first instance of it will be sampled regardless of how many objects have it.
Don't forget to save the texture once you create it!
Installation
The download contains 2 plugins one for blender 2.79 and one for 2.80 (tested with: 2.80-1f1b638b4030-win64). The plugin was tested on windows 10, and the 2 versions of blender only.
Use the plugin with other version at your own discretion.
Install the plugin in blender:

the plugin can then be found in the T panel (on the left)
